These Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownies are the ultimate chocolate fusion! They’re a delicious combination of fudgy brownies and chewy chocolate chip cookie dough.

Ingredients

Scale

Brownie Batter:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat and Prep: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Make Brownie Batter: Melt the butter for the brownie batter. Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  • Make Cookie Dough: In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar for the cookie dough. Add the egg and vanilla extract, beating until light and fluffy. Gradually mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Assemble: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the brownie batter and gently swirl with a knife or toothpick to create a marbled effect.
  • Bake: Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly gooey.

  • Cool and Serve: Let the brookies cool completely in the baking dish before cutting and serving.
