The Best Fluffy & Creamy Pumpkin Dip (5-Minute Recipe!)

A beautiful platter with a bowl of Pumpkin Dip in the center, surrounded by a variety of cookies, fruits, and pretzels for dipping.

A quick, easy, and no-bake recipe for a creamy pumpkin dip that tastes like pumpkin pie filling. The dip is made by beating together pure pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and room-temperature cream cheese with pumpkin pie spice. Heavy cream is then whipped into the mixture until it becomes thick and fluffy. It’s a perfect make-ahead appetizer or dessert for fall gatherings, served chilled with dippers like ginger snaps, pita chips, or graham crackers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • One 15-ounce can pure pumpkin puree
  • 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 3/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • Ginger snap cookies, for garnish
  • Suggested dippers: ginger snaps, cinnamon-sugar pita chips, graham crackers

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, light brown sugar, cream cheese, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  2. Beat with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until the mixture is completely smooth.
  3. Add the heavy cream and continue to beat on medium-high speed until the mixture is very thick and fluffy.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl.
  5. Keep the dip refrigerated until ready to serve.
  6. Just before serving, garnish with a border of ginger snap cookies and serve with your choice of dippers.

Notes

  • Using room-temperature cream cheese is a key step to ensure the dip is smooth and free of lumps.
  • An electric mixer is recommended to whip enough air into the heavy cream to make the dip light and fluffy.
  • This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
