This Easter Crack is a sweet and salty Easter treat that’s easy to make and perfect for sharing! It’s a delicious combination of salty crackers, buttery toffee, white chocolate, and colorful candies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 40 saltine crackers
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup salted butter
  • 3 cups white chocolate chips, divided
  • Pink gel food coloring
  • ½ cup pastel Easter M&M’s
  • ¼ cup chopped mini eggs

  • 2 tablespoons pastel sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prep: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange Crackers: Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Make the Toffee: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and whisk until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is bubbly.
  4. Pour Toffee and Bake: Pour the hot toffee mixture over the crackers, ensuring they are completely coated. Bake for about 4 minutes, or until the toffee is bubbly.
  5. Add White Chocolate: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and immediately sprinkle 2 cups of white chocolate chips over the hot toffee. Once the chocolate starts to melt, spread it evenly over the crackers.
  6. Make Pink Chocolate: Melt the remaining 1 cup of white chocolate chips in the microwave. Add a few drops of pink gel food coloring and mix well.
  7. Decorate: Drop spoonfuls of the pink chocolate over the white chocolate layer and swirl it with a fork or the back of a spoon. Top with mini eggs, M&M’s, and sprinkles while the pink chocolate is still soft.
  8. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the baking sheet for at least 30 minutes to allow the chocolate and candies to set. Once hardened, break the Easter Crack into pieces and enjoy!
