This no-bake Easter Dirt Cake is a delicious and festive dessert that’s perfect for any spring celebration. With layers of creamy pudding, crunchy Oreos, and colorful candies, it’s a guaranteed crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (15.5 ounces) Oreo cookies
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 ¾ cups milk
  • 2 boxes (3.4 ounces each) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 12 ounces Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 cup pastel M&Ms

  • 20 PEEP marshmallows

Instructions

  • Prepare the Oreo Crumbs:

    • Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or place them in a sealed bag and crush them with a rolling pin. You want a mixture of fine crumbs and larger pieces to mimic the texture of dirt.
  • Make the Creamy Filling:

    • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and instant pudding mix until smooth and no lumps remain.
    • Pour the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture and beat until well combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl to ensure everything is incorporated.
    • Gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip until evenly distributed.
  • Assemble the Dirt Cake:

    • In a 13×9 inch dish, press half of the Oreo crumbs firmly into the bottom to create the first layer of “dirt.”
    • Pour the creamy filling over the Oreo crumb base and spread it evenly.
    • Top with the remaining Oreo crumbs to create the final layer of “dirt.”

  • Chill and Decorate:

    • Refrigerate the Easter Dirt Cake for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the pudding to set completely.
    • Just before serving, decorate the top of the cake with pastel M&Ms and PEEP marshmallows.
