Follow these simple steps to create your own batch of Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs:
1. Prepare Your Ingredients:
- Gather all your ingredients and preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Take the ground beef out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes. This helps it cook more evenly.
- Open the cans of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate the biscuits.
2. Cook the Ground Beef:
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and season it generously with salt and pepper.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking the meat up into small crumbles with a spoon or spatula, until no pink remains. The internal temperature of the beef should reach 160°F (71°C) to ensure it’s fully cooked.
- Drain off any excess grease from the skillet.
- Stir in the garlic powder and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until the cheese is melted and well combined with the beef.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and set it aside to cool slightly.
3. Assemble Your Cheeseburger Bombs:
- Take one biscuit and flatten it into a 4-inch circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the beef and cheese mixture into the center of the flattened biscuit.
- Top with another tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef mixture.
- Carefully place another flattened biscuit on top and pinch the edges of the two biscuits together firmly to seal the filling inside. Make sure it is well sealed. Repeat this process with the remaining biscuits and filling.
4. Bake the Cheeseburger Bombs:
- Arrange the assembled bombs seam-side down on an ungreased baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each one to allow for even baking.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops of the bombs are golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
5. Add the Parmesan Garlic Topping:
- While the bombs are baking, prepare the topping. Melt the butter in a small bowl and mix it with the grated Parmesan cheese and garlic powder until well combined.
- As soon as the bombs come out of the oven, use a pastry brush to generously brush the Parmesan garlic butter mixture over the tops of each one.
