  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Season the Chicken: Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger (if using). If you want a thicker sauce, whisk in the cornstarch until smooth.
  • Combine and Simmer: Remove the cooked chicken from the pan and set aside. Add the honey garlic mixture to the skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Coat the Chicken: Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the honey garlic sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the chicken is heated through and the sauce is bubbly.
